The Emirates D20 2022 cricket tournament will be played from June 13 to June 28 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Organised by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), the second edition of Emirates D20 will see six teams fight for the title, with a total of 33 matches to be played across 16 days.
The six teams participating in the T20 tournament are Emirates Blue, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
As per the schedule, each team will play the other side twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals scheduled to be held on June 27. The Emirates D20 2022 final will be played on June 28.
All matches of Emirates D20 will be played at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai.
Sharjah head into the second edition of Emirates D20 as defending champions, having beaten Fujairah by two runs in the final of the 2020 edition.
