After completing the ECS T10 tournament in Bulgaria, the European Cricket Series (ECS) 2021 now shifts to Romania.
The ECS T10 Romania will be played in the capital city of Bucharest, with five teams set to fight for the prestigious title that spans across 24 matches starting July 12. The ECS T10 Romania final will be held on July 17.
The five teams competing in the T10 tournament are ACCB, Baneasa, Bucharest Gladiators, Cluj, and United.
Each team will play back-to-back matches against the same opposition as has been the pattern in the ECS until now. The entire competition will be played at the Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground, Ilfov County in Bucharest.
ACCB will enter the new season as defending champions, having played previously under the name of Indian CC Bucharest. They defeated United, the most successful club in the history of Romania, to win the title.
