After successful completion of the ECS T10 tournament in Hungary, the ongoing European Cricket Series (ECS) 2021 now moves to Bulgaria.
The ECS T10 Bulgaria will now be played in the capital city of Sofia, with five teams set to fight for the bragging rights across 24 matches starting July 5. The ECS T10 Bulgaria final will be played on July 10.
The five teams competing in the T10 tournament are Academic – MU Sofia, Barbarians, BSCU – MU Plovdiv, Indo-Bulgarian CC and VTU-MU Pleven.
Each team is scheduled to play back-to-back matches against the same opposition as has been the norm in the ECS so far. All matches are scheduled to be held at the Vassil Levski National Sports Academy in Sofia.
BSCU – MU Plovdiv head into the new season as defending champions, having played under the name MU Dons in the previous edition. MU Dons had defeated Indo-Bulgarian CC by 30 runs in the ECS T10 Bulgaria last year.
