Malta square off with Belgium in five-match T20I series - get live streaming details

After the ECS T10 Malta series, the country is now scheduled to host a five-match T20I series with Belgium, which will take place from July 8 to July 10, 2021, at the Marsa Sports Club.

The Belgium cricket team is currently ranked 43rd in the ICC Men's T20I team rankings, while the Malta cricket team trails them by 15 places in the 58th position.

After the success of ECS T10 Malta, which was organized in collaboration with the European Cricket Network and the Malta Cricket Federation, this series is the next step towards promoting cricket in Europe.

"Representing one's country on a broadcasted stage is exhilarating, nerve-wracking and momentous for all cricketers,” said European Cricket Network Founder Daniel Weston. 

“It goes a long way in further promoting and growing the sport in Europe and I wish both teams the best of luck in these Internationals," he added.

The bilateral series between Malta and Belgium was initially scheduled to take place in April but had to be postponed.
