The European Cricket Network (ECN) has launched a new national T10 league tournament called the European Cricket Championship 2021 (ECC) featuring teams across Europe.
The month-long tournament is set to be played at the Cartama Cricket Oval in Malaga, Spain between September 13 to October 15.
Hosts Spain play Belgium in the first match of the inaugural season on Monday, September 13.
The 15 participating teams will be divided into three groups of five each. Each group will feature 24 T10 games which include a double robin-round format and playoffs. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Championship Week scheduled between October 4-8.
The first week of the tournament will feature matches across Group A between September 13-17. Whereas Group B and Group C matches will be held between September 20-24 and September 27 to October 1 respectively.
