eCricket Matches: All you need to know

Tournament overview

With the addition of six human players (as opposed to AI players in the previous editions), the eCricket Matches is a first-of-its-kind tournament set to kick in motion from May 13, 2020.

The competition is divided into two leagues, each comprising three gamers of similar ratings.

Each league will be played in a tri-series format, with all three gamers locking horns with each other four times across 12 league stage games. The top two gamers from each league will compete for a spot in the finals.

Match rules

Each fixture will stick to its tradition of 10 wickets per innings but will have the contesting teams playing five overs each.

Powerplay is allotted for one over per innings, with a maximum of three fielders allowed outside the circle. Post the powerplay over, five players will be allowed outside the circle, five players at leg side, and two players behind square.

Match date and timings

The eCricket Matches will be held between May 13-17, 2020. The tournament begins at 10 AM IST, with each day featuring five games and scheduled to end at 5 PM IST. The duration of each fixture will be 60 minutes.

The fixtures list and match scores of live/completed matches will be recorded and accessible exclusively on SportsAdda.com.

Stream details

Matches of the eCricket Matches can be streamed on the Sportsbet website. Streaming will begin at 9:45 AM IST every day.
