The DY Patil Stadium is a multipurpose stadium situated in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Known as the DY Patil Sports Stadium as well, it was officially inaugurated on March 4, 2008 and was the home ground for Team Mumbai in the inaugural edition of the Indian T20 League in 2008.
It boasts a capacity of 55,000 spectators and also hosted the final for the 2008 and 2010 editions of the Indian T20 League.
This stadium has played host to several Indian T20 League games and a few matches on the international stage, including a couple of women’s T20Is.

Most wickets
Australian all-rounder Heather Graham has taken the most WT20I wickets at this venue. Her three scalps in four overs while bowling on this ground is the most scalps taken by any women’s T20 international bowler at this venue.
Highest individual score
The highest individual score at the DY Patil Stadium in WT20Is was made by Beth Mooney in December 2022. She made an unbeaten 89 off 57 balls against India to chase down a 173-run target and help the Aussies to a nine-wicket win.
Best bowling figures
Heather Graham holds the record for best bowling figures in WT20Is at the DY Patil Stadium. During a match against India in December 2022, she finished the game with figures of 3/22. Unfortunately for Australia, it wasn’t enough for a win as they lost the match in a one-over eliminator.
Highest team total
Australia’s 187/1 against India in a women’ T20 international in December 2022 is the highest team total at this venue. It’s worth mentioning that India also scored 187 in reply during the chase in this match albeit having lost five scalps in the process as opposed to Australia’s one. India won the match in a one-over eliminator.
Lowest team total
The lowest women’s T20I team total at this venue was posted by India against Australia in December 2022. India women posted 172/5 during the first WT20I of the series against Australia. Their score is the lowest in WT20I and was chased down comfortably by the Aussies with nine wickets and 11 balls to spare.
Highest partnership
In the same match that witnessed Australia make the highest team total on this venue, Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath combined to put on an unbeaten 158-run stand for the second wicket as Australia recorded 187/1 on the scoreboard before succumbing to a loss following a one-over eliminator against India.
