The Duleep Trophy 2024 is set to begin on September 5 in Bengaluru, Karnataka and Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The tournament will follow the format of four-day games.

Organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Duleep Trophy will mark the beginning of India's domestic season 2024-25

After the Board’s decision to discontinue the zonal format, the upcoming edition of the Duleep Trophy will feature four revamped teams namely: Team A, Team B, Team C and Team D

The competition will progress in a single round-robin format without any knockout games. A total of six games will be played from September 5 to September 22. The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will win the coveted title. 

The venues hosting Duleep Trophy 2024 are M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Rural Development Trust Stadium and ACA ADCA Ground in Anantapur.

Some of the international cricketers participating in this edition of the Duleep Trophy are Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Devdutt Padikkal, Ishan Kishan and Arshdeep Singh.

Meanwhile, the four teams are led by Shubman Gill, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas lyer

In the previous edition of the Duleep Trophy, South Zone beat West Zone by 75 runs in the final. The most successful team in the history of Duleep Trophy is West Zone with 19 titles so far.
