Delhi Bulls (DB) will take on Bangla Tigers (BT) in the fifth match of Abu Dhabi T10 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, November 20.
DB vs BT Dream11 prediction
Delhi Bulls had a great campaign last season, finishing at the top of the points table only to lose the all-important final against Northern Warriors. They will be hoping to go a step further and clinch the trophy this time around.
Meanwhile, Bangla Tigers had an underwhelming Season 4 of Abu Dhabi T10, winning just two out of their six games. However, with some exciting players in their ranks this time around, they look a formidable team on paper and are amongst the favourites to reach the knockout stages of the tournament. That said, Delhi Bulls have a slight edge heading into Saturday’s clash.
DB vs BT Dream11 team tips for Abu Dhabi T10
Top Tip: Best batter
Faf du Plessis of BT will be a top batting pick for this match. The South African was one of the star performers in the Indian T20 League this year, smashing over 600 runs at an average of 45. The 37-year-old has the ability to mix caution with aggression and is likely to open the batting for Bangla Tigers this season. Despite his high price of 10 credits, Faf du Plessis will be a worthy choice for this match.
Top Tip: Best bowler
Adil Rashid of DB will be a great inclusion from the bowlers’ category. The leg-spinner will be confident after good displays for England in the recent T20 World Cup where he claimed nine wickets in six matches. Rashid’s ability to deceive batters in flight makes him a lethal option on the Abu Dhabi surface which is expected to provide some assistance to spinners. The 33-year-old’s versatility to bowl at any stage of the innings makes him a wise pick for this encounter.
Top Tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
As far as the all-rounders are concerned, no one matches the ability of Dwayne Bravo. The Delhi Bulls captain is expected to bowl the crucial overs at the fag end of the innings and is likely to pick up wickets with his clever variations of pace. Bravo’s renaissance as a batter in the last few months has been refreshing to watch as well and he will be crucial for his side in the slog overs. Picking an all-rounder the caliber of Bravo in your fantasy team is a no-brainer.
Amongst the wicket-keepers, Andre Fletcher of BT is a good option. The 33-year-old scored 151 runs in six matches last season at a whopping strike-rate of 175. The West Indian is one of the cleanest strikers of a cricket ball and will be entrusted to get his team off to flying starts in the powerplay overs. Besides his batting, Fletcher is also a good gloveman and is likely to fetch lots of fantasy points with his keeping skills.
