Defending champions Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) will lock horns with Lyca Kovai Kings (LKK) in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2022 final at SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore on Sunday, July 31. The game will start at 7:15 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
Led by Kaushik Gandhi, Chepauk Super Gillies defeated Nellai Royal Kings (NRK) by five wickets in Qualifier 1 to book their place in TNPL 2022 final. Earlier, CSG registered five wins and two losses in the league phase to finish second in the standings.
On the other hand, Lyca Kovai Kings sealed their place in the summit clash after they pipped Nellai Royal Kings by two wickets in Qualifier 2. The Shahrukh Khan-led LKK earlier finished fourth in the league standings with four victories and three defeats.

For the wicket-keeper spot, Lyca Kovai Kings’ J Suresh Kumar will be the preferred choice over Narayan Jagadeesan of Chepauk Super Gillies.
