The CSA T20 Challenge 2024 will start on September 27 and run till October 27 in South Africa.
Organised by Cricket South Africa (CSA), as many as eight teams will compete in a total of 32 matches in the CSA T20 Challenge 2024.
Boland, Dolphins, Knights, Lions, Titans, Warriors and Western Province are the teams that will participate in South Africa’s domestic T20 cricket tournament.
As per the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 schedule, each team will play the other seven sides once in a single round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the playoffs.
The top two teams will clash in the Qualifier 1 for a place in the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 final.
Meanwhile, the third and fourth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator to stay alive in the competition.
The winner of the Eliminator will take on the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other place in the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 final to be played on October 27.
Lions are the defending champions of the CSA T20 Challenge after beating Dolphins by seven wickets in the last edition’s final in April to claim their fifth title.
Since the inception of the T20 tournament in the 2003-04 season, Titans are the most successful team with six titles.
South Africa’s top T20 stars including the likes of Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, Tristan Stubbs, Rilee Rossouw, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Keshav Maharaj will participate in the upcoming T20 tournament.
Where to watch CSA T20 Challenge 2024 live in India
Live streaming of the CSA T20 Challenge 2024 will be available on the Cricket South Africa’s YouTube channel.
There will be no live telecast of the upcoming domestic T20 tournament on any TV channel in India.
