Premier League is undoubtedly one of the most loved football leagues around the world and something that keeps the English fans hooked on throughout the year.
In a country, where the popularity of football trumps cricket, the tables have turned after England’s 2019 Cricket World Cup triumph on home soil.
One such instance was seen just before Tottenham Hotspur’s league match against Newcastle United in London, where the English fans were glued to the televisions, catching some of the third Ashes Test action before kick-off.

With Ben Stokes clearing boundaries at whim, taking England closer to an unprecedented victory, the excitement in the air was palpable. And as soon as the winning runs were hit, the crowd erupted in glee.

Both the hosts and Australia now move on to Old Trafford, Manchester for the fourth Test, as the five-match series is levelled at 1-1, thanks to Stokes brilliant 135 not out.
