The Champions One-Day Cup 2024 will start on September 12 and run till September 29 in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Champions One-Day Cup 2024 is one of the three new competitions introduced to bridge the gap between domestic and international cricket.

The Champions One-Day Cup 2024 will see as many as five teams compete in a total of 14 matches. 

Dolphins, Lions, Panthers, Stallions and Wolves are the names of the five teams that will participate in the inaugural edition of the Champions One-Day Cup.

As per the Champions One-Day Cup 2024 schedule, each team will play the other four sides once in a single round-robin format. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs.

The top two teams in the standings will clash in Qualifier 1 for a place in the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will then clash in the Eliminator.

The winner of the Eliminator will face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.

All Champions One-Day Cup 2024 matches will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.

Meanwhile, captains of the five teams have been announced ahead of the 50-over competition.

Dolphins will be led by Saud Shakeel while Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead Lions. Shadab Khan has been named the captain of Panthers whereas Mohammad Haris will captain Stallions. Mohammad Rizwan will act as skipper for the Wolves.

A total of 150 cricketers including 125 leading performers from the past three domestic seasons will feature in the Champions One-Day Cup 2024. 

The remaining 25 players are wildcards, selected based on their experience and performances for Pakistan, Pakistan Shaheens and Pakistan Under-19 teams over the last three years.

Where to watch Champions One-Day Cup 2024 live in India

Live streaming of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024 is yet to be revealed and will be updated after official confirmation from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

There will be no live telecast of the 50-over cricket tournament on any TV channel in India.
