The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 will start in the early hours of Friday in India on August 30.
Organised by Cricket West Indies (CWI), CPL 2024 will see as many as six teams compete in a total of 34 T20 matches across five weeks.
Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots,Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders are the six teams that will participate in the 12th edition of the Caribbean Premier League.
As per the CPL 2024 schedule, each team will play the other sides twice in a double round-robin format. The top four teams in the standings after all the league matches will qualify for the playoffs.
In the playoffs, the third and fourth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator while the top two teams in the standings will clash in the Qualifier 1 for a place in the final.
The winner of the Eliminator will later face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.
The CPL 2024 final is scheduled to be played on Monday, October 7 as per IST.
Guyana Amazon Warriors are the defending champions of the Caribbean Premier League after they defeated Trinbago Knight Riders by nine wickets in the CPL 2023 final.
Meanwhile, Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful team in the league’s history with four titles.
The likes of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Faf du Plessis, Heinrich Klaasen, Wanindu Hasaranga, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Imran Tahir are some of the international stars that will feature in the upcoming T20 tournament in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean Premier League 2024 will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network’s TV channels in India.
Live streaming of the CPL 2024 matches will be available on the FanCode app and website in India.
