Bangla Tigers (BT) will take on defending champions Northern Warriors (NW) in the eighth match of Abu Dhabi T10 2021 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, November 21.

Both Bangla Tigers and Northern Warriors have made a disappointing start to the fifth edition of Abu Dhabi T10. While Rovman Powell-led Warriors suffered a six-wicket defeat against Delhi Bulls, Faf du Plessis’ Tigers lost to Team Abu Dhabi by 40 runs.
Furthermore, the Tigers have recently struggled in the Abu Dhabi T10 league, winning one of their last five matches in the tournament. On the other hand, the Warriors have been the most successful franchise in the T10 League, winning the title twice in 2018 and 2020.
However, Bangla Tigers have a slight advantage over Northern Warriors in the head-to-head record, winning two of the three matches played between these two franchises.
Going by recent form and team combination, NT will start as favourites against BT in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

In the bowling department, Bangla Tigers’ Isuru Udana will be the bowler to watch out for. Even though the Tigers conceded 145 runs in their 20 overs against Team Abu Dhabi on Friday, Udana was the standout bowler for his side, giving away just 14 runs in his two overs and also bagging one wicket.

Among the quality all-rounders on both sides, one must pick Moeen Ali of Northern Warriors in your fantasy cricket team. The 34-year-old scored a blitzkrieg 21-ball 35 against Delhi Bulls in their opening fixture and can also chip in with important wickets with his wily off-spin.
