Defending champions Britannia CC (BRI) take on a spirited USG Chemnitz (USGC) side in match 21 of ECS Germany, Dresden T10 2021 at the Rugby Cricket Dresden eV stadium on Saturday, August 21.
BRI are the defending champions of ECS T10 Dresden having won the 2020 edition on net run rate after the final was abandoned due to heavy downpour. They will be looking for a repeat of last season’s performance in the upcoming edition of ECS T10 Dresden as they target a successful title defence.
USGC finished fourth in 2020 after losing to eventual champions BRI in the semi-final. They also lost the bronze match and will be eager to set things right in the upcoming campaign.

Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper
Rohit Singh is a great all-round pick for this match. In the 2020 edition, he scored 201 runs in 10 innings with a highest score of an unbeaten 49. Rohit also chipped in with 10 wickets with his best figures being an impressive 5/5.
USGC wicket-keeper Gopinath Manoharan is a fine choice for this match. He scored 149 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 118.25 last season. Gopinath was also exceptional behind the stumps and played a key role in his side reaching the semi-final.
