Former Australian cricketer Brad Hodge has made a sensational claim against the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI), stating his dues from the 2011 Indian T20 League campaign are still to be paid.
The 46-year-old, who represented Kochi for one season in the T20 extravaganza, took to Twitter to ask the Indian board if they have ‘located’ the money the franchise owed to the players.
Players are still owed 35% of their money earned from ten years ago from the @IPL representing Kochi tuskers. Any chance @BCCI could locate that money?

As per Brad Hodge’s claims, the now-defunct Kochi still owes the Australian more than USD 127,000. Furthermore, the Aussie went on record to say ‘people’ are owed 35 per cent of the money.
Brad Hodge was part of the Indian T20 League for seven seasons since its inception in 2008. The Australian all-rounder played for Kolkata, Kochi, Kerala and Rajasthan. The all-rounder scored 1,400 runs in 66 games, picking up 17 wickets in the process as well.
Hodge’s comments came in response to a Telegraph report, which stated that the Indian women’s cricket team is yet to receive their prize money from their participation and subsequent run to the final of the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup.
