Debutants VTU-MU Pleven (PLE) will take on Barbarians (BAR) in the seventh match of ECS T10 Bulgaria 2021 at the Vassil Levski National Sports Academy, Sofia, on Tuesday, July 6.
While Medical University Pleven head into the competition with some of the top players from last season, Barbarians will look to get off the mark quickly after finishing at the bottom in the previous campaign.

Top tip: Best batsmen
The Barbarians will be hoping to see their captain and Bulgarian international Dimo Nikolov lead from the front this time. The opening batsman is yet to play in ECS but has made a name for himself in the domestic circuit.
One of the leading run-scorers from the last couple of seasons, Akshay Harikumar will be captaining Medical University Pleven this time and is an automatic pick among batsmen. Harikumar had tallied 130 runs while playing for the Indian Tuskers last season and will be a batsman to watch out for.
Top tip: Best bowlers
Ivaylo Katzarski was the leading wicket-taker for the Barbarians last season as he ended his campaign with five scalps in eight matches and best figures of 4/16. He will once again be the team's main man with the ball and fantasy owners can expect something special from him.
The leading wicket-taker from last season, Aswad Khan is expected to work his magic yet again. The Bulgarian international has been a regular in the T20 circuit and has lots of experience at the top level, which fantasy team owners can bank on.
Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-
Akshay Harikumar will be an ideal pick for the all-rounder's position. The Pleven skipper had ended last season with 130 runs and seven wickets in 10 matches, making him a valuable asset for any side.
Pleven wicket-keeper Nithin Sunil will be an obvious pick after his decent outings last season. The batsman had tallied 131 runs at a strike rate of 92.9 last season apart from being handy behind the stumps as well.
