The Arachas Super Series 2022 begins on Sunday, May 1 with holders Scorchers taking on Typhoons. The match will start at 3:15 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
The tournament - which includes the Super Series 50 Cup and Super Series T20 Trophy - will revert to a three-team participation after the competition was reduced to a two-team affair for the last two years.
The Arachas Super Series 2022 will begin with the Super Series 50 Cup, which will be held in two phases. The first round of the competition will be played from May 1 to May 29.
The Super Series T20 Trophy will commence from June 26 to July 10, following which the Super Series 50 Cup will return with its second leg schedule from July 31 to August 10.
The participating teams are defending champions Scorchers, Dragons and Typhoons.
The Arachas Super Series 2022 will be played in a league system, with each team playing 12 matches across the 50-overs and 20-over formats.
