The Andhra Premier League 2022 begins with a game between Coastal Riders and Godavari Titans at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on July 6.
The inaugural edition of the APL 2022 - organised by the Andhra Cricket Association - features six teams from six different regions within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The participating teams are Uttarandhra Lions, Rayalaseema Kings, Godavari Titans, Coastal Riders, Bezwada Tigers and Vizag Warriors.
The league stage - comprising 15 matches - will be played in a round-robin format followed by four playoff games. The Andhra Premier League 2022 final will be played on July 17.
The tournament will see some Andhra stars like Ricky Bhui, KS Bharat and Ashwin Hebbar, among others, in action.
Double-header matches will start at 1 PM IST and 6:30 PM IST.
