The ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 will start on November 29 and run till December 8 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Asian Cricket Council is all set to host the 11th edition of the ACC U19 Asia Cup across Sharjah and Dubai, with the inaugural edition being played in Bangladesh in 1989.

The tournament currently comprises five full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. In contrast, Nepal, Japan, and UAE will be the other three Asian teams entering the contest.

The curtain-raiser of the tournament will see the defending champions Bangladesh taking on Afghanistan. Meanwhile, India will start their campaign against arch-rival Pakistan on November 30.

India are the most dominant team in the tournament’s history, having won the title eight out of 10 times. However, the previous edition was won by Bangladesh.

As per the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 schedule, the eight teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each. All the teams will play once against the other three sides in the group.

Group A: India, Pakistan, UAE, Japan

Group B: Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals after the group-stage fixtures. Later on, the winners of the two semi-finals will play against each other in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 final on December 8.

All the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 matches will be played at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.
