ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 points table and standings

The ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 began on November 29 and will run until December 8 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Oragnised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 will see as many as eight teams compete in a total of 15 ODIs in the 11th edition of the tournament.

As per the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 format, these teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each.

Group A has India, Pakistan, Japan and the hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Nepal are clubbed in Group B.

Each team will play the other three sides in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance after the group stage matches.

The winner of Group A will face the runner-up in Group B in the first semi-final while the top-placed team in Group B will face the second-placed team in Group A in the other semi-final.

The semi-final winners will clash in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 final on December 8.

All the matches of ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 will be played at the Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Bangladesh are the defending champions of the ACC U19 Asia Cup. They clinched their maiden Asia Cup U19 title after defeating UAE by 195 runs in the 2023 final.

ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 points system

As per the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024 points system, each team will be awarded two points for a win in the group stage.

In case of a no result, both teams will share one point. If two or more teams are tied on points, the Net Run Rate (NRR) will come into play with the side having a superior NRR getting positioned higher.
