The ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 will start on October 18 and run till October 27 in Muscat, Oman.

Organised by the Asian Cricket Council, the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 will see as many as eight teams compete in a total of 15 matches. 

As per the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 format, these teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each.

Group A has Afghanistan A, Bangladesh A, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka A. Hosts Oman, arch-rivals India A, Pakistan A and the United Arab Emirates are clubbed in Group B.

Each team will play the other sides in their group once in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 semi-finals.

The winner of Group A will face the runner-up in Group B in the first semi-final while the top-placed team in Group B will face the second-placed team in Group A in the other semi-final.

The winners of the two semi-finals will lock horns in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 final on October 27.

All matches in the upcoming T20 tournament will be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Muscat, Oman.

The ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 will be the sixth edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Pakistan A won the previous edition of the tournament after beating India A by 128 runs in the 2023 final.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma will lead India A in the upcoming ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. 

Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Ayush Badoni, Vaibhav Arora, Sai Kishore and Rahul Chahar are some of the rising T20 stars included in the India A squad.
