Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground is a picturesque cricket ground located in Kirtipur, Nepal.
Also known as Kirtipur Cricket Stadium or TU Cricket Ground, the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground was established in 1998 and has a seating capacity of 25,000.
Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground is situated within the premises of Tribhuvan University and it serves as the headquarters for the Cricket Association of Nepal.
The renowned cricket venue staged its first cricket match when Bangladesh played Papua New Guinea in the ACC Trophy 1998.
It has hosted several international competitions, including the 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division Five and the 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.
The Kirtipur Cricket Stadium staged its first one-day international in February 2020 between hosts Nepal and Oman in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. Oman won the match by 18 runs.
Apart from international matches, the cricket ground has hosted many domestic tournaments such as Everest Premier League, Prime Minister One Day Cup and the inaugural Nepal Premier League.

During a Nepal Triangular Series clash in February 2024, the Scott Edwards-led Netherlands posted 247/5 in their 20 overs against Namibia. Opening batter Michael Levitt slammed 135 off just 62 balls while Sybrand Engelbrecht’s 40-ball 75 helped Netherlands register the highest T20 total at the venue. In reply, Namibia could manage 188/7 as Netherlands won the game by 59 runs.
Lowest total
The Maldives cricket team registered the lowest total at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in T20 cricket. Maldives were restricted to 79/6 in their 20 overs while chasing Nepal’s 163/7 in the South Asian Games Men's Cricket Competition in Kirtipur in December 2019. Electing to bat first, Nepal rode on contributions from Karan KC (40) and Dipendra Singh Airee (39) to post a competitive total of 163/7 in their allotted overs. Later, Sushan Bhari and Lalit Rajbanshi bagged two wickets each to restrict Maldives to the lowest T20 total at the venue and secure an 84-run victory in the end.
