Delhi will take on resurgent Punjab in match 29 of Indian T20 League 2021 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, May 2.
The Rishabh Pant-led side has been in great form in the tournament so far, winning five of their seven matches. The last year’s finalists are currently sitting in the second position in the points table.
On the other hand, the Punjab franchise will also be high on confidence after they defeated Bangalore by 34 runs in their previous encounter.
However, KL Rahul and his men were thrashed by Delhi in the earlier fixture in Indian T20 League 2021. Punjab will look to avenge that defeat at the Motera on Sunday.
Interestingly, Punjab hold a slight edge over Delhi in the head-to-head record, winning 15 of the 27 matches played between these two teams.
