Widely regarded as one of the greatest captains of all-time, MS Dhoni will go down in cricketing history as one of the best to ever lead a team.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Dhoni led the Indian cricket team, Team Chennai, as well as Team Pune in the Indian T20 League.

During his career as a skipper, Dhoni won innumerable honours with his teams. He led the Indian cricket team to the T20 World Cup title in 2007, the ODI World Cup crown in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013.

As far as his exploits in the Indian T20 League are concerned, Dhoni led Team Chennai to five league titles to go along with two Champions League T20 trophies.

He also was the skipper of the now-defunct Team Pune in the Indian T20 League and captained the side on 14 occasions in the league.

Dhoni also guided India to the ICC Test mace in 2010 and 2011 besides also leading the Menin Blue to two Asia Cup crowns in 2010 and 2016.

Dhoni relished his time leading Team Chennai in the Indian T20 League and eventually stepped down as skipper of the franchise with a 60.38% win percentage.

In international cricket, Dhoni fared the best in the ODI format with India. He won 110 of his 199 50-over games as skipper of the Men in Blue and boasts a win percentage of 55.27 in the format.

In redball cricket, Dhoni as skipper had a win percentage of 45, while the T20 format saw his win percentage as captain for India rise to 56.90.
