He scored 18,426 runs in 422 innings, including slamming 49 centuries and 96 fifties in the 50-over format. Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, who is second on the all-time highest run-scorer in ODI cricket, finished his career with 14,234 ODI runs in 404 matches.

The flamboyant right-handed batter holds the record for the most centuries in ODI cricket. He has smashed 50 centuries in ODI cricket, one more than his idol Sachin Tendulkar. Apart from 50 hundreds, Virat Kohli has also registered 72 half-centuries in his illustrious career so far.
