Former Bengaluru captain Virat Kohli holds the record for most catches in Indian T20 League history.
Since making his Indian T20 League debut against Kolkata at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in 2008, Virat Kohli has grabbed 110 catches in 242 matches so far. Kohli averages 0.458 catches per innings with his highest tally in a single match being three catches.
The previous record for most catches in Indian T20 League history was held by former Chennai batter Suresh Raina.
Between 2008 and 2021, Raina took 109 catches in 205 matches, with an average of 0.534 catches per innings.
Former Mumbai all-rounder Kieron Pollard features third on the list for most catches in the Indian T20 League.
Considered to be one of the best fielders of all-time, Pollard grabbed 103 catches in 189 Indian T20 League matches between 2010 and 2022.
The likes of Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are the other cricketers to have completed at least 100 catches in the Indian T20 League.
While former Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma has grabbed 100 catches in 247 matches, Chennai’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is the latest to join the elite list with 100 catches in 231 matches.
Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan (98 catches), AB de Villiers (90 catches), David Warner (84 catches), Manish Pandey (81 catches) and Dwayne Bravo (80 catches) are the other cricketers to feature in the top 10 list of most catches in Indian T20 League history.
