India’s World Cup hero in 2011, Yuvraj Singh, decided to call it quits on his International career earlier on Monday, bringing down the curtain on an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades. The stylish southpaw represented India in 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20 Internationals since making his debut in 2000.
While he may be most fondly remembered for scoring six sixes off Stuart Broad’s over in the inaugural World T20 championship and being India’s man of the series at the World Cup, there are several other reasons to celebrate and remember Yuvraj Singh.
