India against Australia, South Africa back fighting it out against England and Zimbabwe hosting Test cricket is all the cricket you will get from International circuit this week. Here we help Moneyball fantasy managers in choosing the right players for this week from International cricket to maximise their earning potential.
MOHAMMED SHAMI
Country: India
Match/Series: India vs Australia, ODI
Mohammed Shami hasn't quite nailed down his spot in India's limited-overs setup with the slew of fast bowling talent that India produce. Even with Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur in good form in the shortest format, Shami should be a must-pick in the starting XI and in your fantasy team as well. He topped the wicket charts in 2019 in ODIs with 42 wickets in 21 matches and is expected to be a strike bowler across phases now given that he has developed a few variations for the death.
QUINTON DE KOCK
Country: South Africa
Match/Series: South Africa vs England, 3rd Test
South Africa might have had a torrid 2019 in Tests, but the one player who actually enjoyed a fine time was Quinton de Kock who managed to even make a century in India. The wicket-keeper batsman made 713 runs in 2019, averaging 47.53 with two tons and five half-centuries. A gritty second innings half-century at Newlands with South Africa looking to save the Test further paints de Kock in a good light. He was sharp behind the stumps as usual and could be a key player this week as the Proteas aim to surge ahead in the series.
KUSAL PERERA
Country: Sri Lanka
Match/Series: Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test
Kusal Perera will have fond memories of his last African tour in 2019. In Durban, he combined with the no.11 in one of the most dramatic partnerships in Test cricket ever as Sri Lanka chased a mammoth 304 in the final innings against the Proteas. Perera, despite being inconsistent, has this knack of going big against teams like Zimbabwe and should be a great differential for this series.
ADAM ZAMPA
Country: Australia
Match/Series: India vs Australia, ODIs
Adam Zampa's overall ODI numbers aren't overwhelming enough to attract awe. But the leg-spinner has his way against top-order batsmen in this format and is a natural wicket-taker with the ball. In 8 ODIs in India, Zampa has 15 wickets at an average of 31.46. In the 2019 series against India in India, Zampa picked up 11 wickets in five matches and was the pick of Australia's bowlers. He might be another good differential to have in your team.
BEN STOKES
Country: England
Match/Series: South Africa vs England, 3rd Test
There are few cricketers in world cricket today who can impact a game as well as Ben Stokes. After a sensational, unbeaten hundred and terrific a last-wicket partnership with Jack Leach at Headingley in the Ashes to take England to a win, Stokes put on another commendable display at Newlands in a Man of the match performance. A 77-ball 47 in the first innings was followed by five outstanding catches. In the second innings, he played a declaration innings of 72 in 47 balls before finishing it off with three wickets in the last hour on day five to seal the win for England. His form and record against South Africa suggests that he will be a force right through this series.
