The Dubai International Cricket Stadium, also known as the Ring of Fire, is a versatile sports venue in the United Arab Emirates that was established in 2009. As the largest cricket stadium in the UAE, it can accommodate 25,000 spectators.
Designed by Canadian architect Awsam Matloob, the stadium hosted its first One-Day International (ODI) in April 2009 where Pakistan defeated Australia by four wickets.
Initially named the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, it later saw its first T20 international match in 2009 between Australia and Pakistan. The Men in Green won the game by seven wickets under the leadership of Misbah-ul-Haq.
In 2010, the stadium hosted its first Test match after featuring a clash between Pakistan and South Africa that ended in a draw.
Along with international cricket matches, the venue has also hosted popular tournaments such as the Indian T20 League, Pakistan Super League, and International League T20.
