The Arnos Vale Stadium is a cricket ground in the Caribbean, located near Kingstown, St. Vincent.
Part of the Arnos Vale Sports Complex, it is a multipurpose venue and has a seating capacity of 18,000.
Owned by the Windward Islands Cricket Board, it hosted its first ever match in 1981 when West Indies played England in an ODI, which the former beat the latter by two runs.
The first-ever Test match at this venue took place between West Indies and Sri Lanka in 1997. The match ended in a draw.
Meanwhile, its first T20I saw West Indies taking on Pakistan in 2013. Pakistan won the contest by two runs and followed it up with another 11-run victory against the Windies a day later.
It was also one of the venues for warm-up matches ahead of the 2007 World Cup and will be hosting some T20 World Cup 2024 matches.

Bangladesh posted 159/5 in their 20 overs against the Netherlands in a T20 World Cup 2024 group match. Put in to bat, Bangladesh rode on Shakib Al Hasan's unbeaten 64 off 46 balls and Tanzid Hasan's 26-ball 35 to post a record T20 total at the venue. Later, Bangladesh restricted the Netherlands to 134/8 in their allotted overs to register a 25-run victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 fixture.
Lowest Total
The Nepal cricket team registered the lowest total at the Arnos Vale Stadium in the T20 format. Nepal were bowled out for 85 while chasing Bangladesh's 106 in a T20 World Cup 2024 group encounter. Chasing a tricky total, Nepal lost wickets at regular intervals as they later fell short by 21 runs. Kushal Malla (27) and Dipendra Singh Airee (25) were the top scorers for Nepal. Earlier, Bangladesh were skittled out for 106 in 19.3 overs. Despite an impressive bowling show, Nepal then failed to chase down the target.
Most runs
Shakib Al Hasan has scored the most runs in T20Is at this venue. The legendary all-rounder scored 81 runs at an average of 81 and a strike rate of 119.91 on this ground. Kieron Pollard is second on the list for most runs in T20Is at this venue having scored 72 runs in two games.
Most wickets
Bangladesh's Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Dipendra Singh Airee of Nepal and Pakistan's Zulfiqar Babar have the record for most wickets in T20 internationals on this ground. Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Dipendra Singh Airee and Zulfiqar Babar have picked up five T20 wickets each in two games at this venue.
Highest individual score
Shakib Al Hasan also holds the record for the highest individual score at this venue. Batting at No.4, the veteran left-handed batter scored an unbeaten 64 off 46 balls against the Netherlands in a T20 World Cup 2024 group match. Shakib's brilliant knock was laced with nine fours and helped Bangladesh post a fighting total of 159/5 in their 20 overs. Bangladesh later restricted the Netherlands to 134/8 in their 20 overs to register a 25-run victory.
Best bowling figures
Tanzim Hasan Sakib of Bangladesh registered the best bowling figures on this ground in T20 international cricket. The right-arm pacer registered match-winning figures of 4/7 against Nepal in a T20 World Cup 2024 group match. Defending 106, Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissed Kushal Bhurtel, Anil Sah, captain Rohit Paudel and Sundeep Jora to guide Bangladesh to an impressive victory.
Highest partnership
Former West Indies all-rounders Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo hold the distinction of recording this highest partnership at this venue in T20Is. In the first game of a two-match series against Pakistan, West Indies were reduced to 42/4 after electing to bat first. However, Pollard and Bravo stitched together a 56-run stand for the fifth wicket and stabilised the Windies’ innings. Bravo was dismissed for 25, while Pollard scored an unbeaten 49 as West Indies posted 152/7 befores succumbing to a two wicket loss.
