‘Not a classy move’: Mourinho in trouble after Cup loss

José Mourinho is in hot water again after Fenerbahce’s tense 2-1 loss to Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup. After the match, he seemed to have pinched Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk’s nose. This caused a fight on the pitch and led to Mourinho getting a red card.
A video showed Mourinho walking up to Buruk after the game and grabbing his nose. Buruk fell to the ground holding his face. He then lay on his back as players and staff stepped in to calm things down. At the press talk, Buruk said it was 'not a classy move' but he didn’t want to make a big fuss. He also said that Mourinho scratched him.
The match itself was heated. Victor Osimhen scored twice in the first half. He got his first goal in the 10th minute. His second came in the 27th minute from a penalty after a handball by Filip Kostic. Fenerbahce’s Sebastian Szymanski scored just before halftime. A video assistant referee (VAR) first ruled it as offside.
This isn’t Mourinho’s first trouble in Turkey. In February, Galatasaray said he used racist words after a league game that ended in a draw. His team said it was untrue and took legal action.
