The FIFA Club World Cup Trophy is on its way to Auckland, New Zealand as part of its global tour ahead of the inaugural 32-team revamp for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Football fans in New Zealand will have a chance to see the trophy up close, from March 13 to 15, before the tournament kicks off in June.

The prized trophy is set to be showcased in key locations across the country. Auckland City FC, the Oceania rep in the World Cup, will host a special public viewing at Kiwitea Street on the last day.

Ivan Vuksich, the Navy Blues’ chairperson, described the event as a unique moment for New Zealand football as it brings the World Cup thrill to local fans. ‘[This] is a historic achievement, and bringing the trophy to Auckland allows [everyone] to be part of the journey,’ he noted.

Designed by Tiffany & Co., the trophy is displayed in 24K gold-plated finish, where FIFA’s 211 member associations are engraved. It also features writings in multiple languages, including Braille. Auckland is among the final stops on the trophy tour, which spans 29 cities in 20 countries over 140 days.
