Both the coach and the manager of M80 were kicked out of the Rainbow Six Siege Invitational 2025 after showing ‘unsportsmanlike behaviour’ towards their opponent, DarkZero.

The issue started when DarkZero won by default after the coach of M80, Matheus ‘Budega’ Figuerado was caught talking as the round was still ongoing—a banned act based on the match rules.

The coach was warned after breaking the rule for the second time. When caught again, the round was given to DarkZero, which enraged the coach. This led him to approach DarkZero’s side, throw insults, and push players. Six Invitational organisers quickly countered by escorting Budega and M80 manager Igor Vivas out.

Budega was known for his behaviour during the Six Charlotte Major 2022’s when he also showed similar actions that led to a 12-month suspension for ‘misconduct.’

A lot of fans voiced concerns about the actions of the coach. Founder and CEO of M80, Marceo Mereu, also released an official statement sharing his dismay towards the actions of Budega.

The CEO expressed regret to the fans, organisers, and the Ubisoft staff saying that ‘he is completely ashamed of how the team was represented.’
